Having Naloxone on site is an important safety measure you can implement to ensure you are taking all the necessary precautions in your organization. Offering Naloxone training is also an effective way to make sure individuals in your organization feel comfortable administering Naloxone, if the need is presented.
OSHA has created resources for employers regarding Naloxone facts: “Using Naloxone to Reverse Opioid Overdose in the Workplace: Information for Employers and Workers”.
Additionally, the Boston Medical Center has created this information on Naloxone and training material.
*Information in the toolkit is adapted from the Boston Medical Center’s opioid resources https://www.bmc.org/addiction*
